چکیده

• A green, simple and fast synthetic approach for the growth of Y-BTC MOFs is reported. fine tailoring structure morphology observed as a function operative parameters. Both time temperature play role on control MOFs. The synthesis can be easily scaled-up production in large scale. Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) are extended three-dimensional metal-organic clusters created by self-assembly metal ions with organic ligands, whose repeated unit spreads space very orderly. Yttrium based 3D network structure, have been synthesized using tritopic linker 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H 3 -BTC) adopting one-pot, green through tuning process parameters like time. syntheses carried out at various temperatures reaction times, order to correlate morphological structural features conditions. samples studied detail powder X-Ray diffraction (PXRD) FT-IR spectroscopy analyse arrangements. Specifically, PXRD patterns compared derived from literature data. sample room 24 h has same known Y(BTC)(H 2 O) 6 compound, while produced high new cell = 14.668(2) Å, b 16.316(2) c 6.9650(4) Å. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) allowed investigate evolution MOF Additionally, thermal analyses (TGA DSC) assessed stability modifications samples.

Synthesis of niobia nanocrystals with controlled morphology.

In this work, TT niobia-phase nanocrystals with controlled morphology were obtained by the hydrothermal treatment of a niobium peroxo complex precursor at very low temperatures. The materials obtained by this route presented a very high surface area (ranging from 79 to 327 m(2)/g), disordered NbO(6), NbO(7), and NbO(8) polyhedra, Nb-O superficial sites, and a superficial OH group, which must ha...

Recent advances in carbon dioxide capture with metalorganic frameworks

Uncontrolled massive release of the primary greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2) into atmosphere from anthropogenic activities poses a big threat and adversely affects our global climate and natural environment. One promising approach to mitigate CO2 emission is carbon capture and storage (CCS), in which ideal adsorbent materials with high storage capacity and excellent adsorption selectivity ov...

Drug delivery and controlled release from biocompatible metalorganic frameworks using mechanical amorphization

We have used a family of Zr-based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with different functionalized (bromo, nitro and amino) and extended linkers for drug delivery. We loaded the materials with the fluorescent model molecule calcein and the anticancer drug a-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (a-CHC), and consequently performed a mechanical amorphization process to attempt to control the delivery of gues...

The use of a rigid tritopic phosphonic ligand for the synthesis of a robust honeycomb-like layered zirconium phosphonate framework.

1,3,5-Tris(4-phosphonophenyl)benzene was synthesized via a microwave heating assisted route and was subsequently used for the preparation of a new zirconium phosphonate with honeycomb-like structure displaying remarkable thermal stability and hydrolysis resistance.
